2009 Nomad,1700, bought new with a Kawasaki warranty. After 4,000 miles, I thought my front tire was bad. The right fork tube seals were leaking, spilling onto my tire. Kawasaki refused to replace it because it was a “wearable item”. The fork tube seal was defective from the factory. Kawasaki warranty states in the first paragraph: They do NOT warranty ANY MOVING PARTS. So why buy a warranty or this bike?
I have a 2006 Nomad and have been all over the western United States and Canada. Me and the wife, all of are gear and have never had any issuues with it . The Nomad is a AWESOME ride I have been riding since I could walk. TRB
New drinking game: Take a shot everytime he says “Day Ride” haha. Is he talking about a belt as a final drive, or am I just drunk from the drinking game? Why the switch from the coveted drive-shaft? Thank goodness my ‘05 has a shaft drive, I’ll never have to buy this 2009!
Carbon fiber belt? what belt? I don’t like the new look at all. I think the new bags waste a lot of space with such a huge lid too. I love my 2005 as well, but feel the limited(ness) of aftermarket stuff will only grow with this new look. Kawasaki doesn’t encourage custom??? I’ve done a lot to mine, but it’s taken a lot of true custom work just to get some of the same accessories others can get off the shelf.

I have an 01 Nomad with 35000 miles. Still runs like a champ and rides and pulls great above 55 and beyond 85….. best bike I have owned so far.

yeps, I’m enjoying my ‘06 vulcan 1600, wouldn’t even trade it for a Harley, hehe.
On this new bike, I didn’t care for the reflectors on the front fork but overall looks great and reminds me of my bike.

what the hell is a ‘day ride’ . I can only do one day at a time even if it’s 20 hrs.

Props for another great kawasaki product even though I only ride the ninja lineup at this point in my life.
